Welcome to the John Shephard Gallery Online. I'm from the state of Washington and I worked as a photo assistant to Australian photographer, Ken Duncan for four years, whose teaching was invaluable to my growth as a person and photographer. My family and I lived in Australia for two of those years.

We returned to Washington in 2002 to work on a coffee table book of Washington state. Production will begin in 2008. In June 2006, my wife and I opened our gallery in Woodinville, WA, in the heart of the wine district, located within Brian Carter Cellars.

Most of these photos are panoramic landscapes. I love the panoramic format and have shot with it exclusively, since 2001. Our eyes are positioned panoramically, making it very natural to look at these photographs. All of these shots have been critically chosen from hundreds of others. We offer Limited Edition Prints, Open Edition Archival Prints, 12' Framed Prints, and Notecards.
