In 2010, I went to Kenya to take photos and video to document the water and school projects that the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club has been doing in Nyanza and the Laikepia Plateau over the past 11 years. It was heart wrenching and wonderful. Great despair with glimpses of hope. Strangers became brothers and sisters. The warmth of the people and the vast wilderness landscapes made me feel as though Kenya could be my home. These shots best represent the way that I felt when I was there.
